A number between 0 and 100. How close can you get?
Distance to the answer is your score — lower is better.
For example
How many keys does a standard piano have?
Your guess
50
Setting the dial…
Set the dial, lock it in, and the gap between your guess and the answer is what you score. Five questions, one round, everyone gets the same set.

Nobody in the room knows the answer. Everyone has a number anyway.
Put the code on a big screen and everyone joins from their phone. A countdown runs, and when it stops every guess in the room lands on the same ruler at once — the near misses, the wild swings, and the two people who somehow picked the same number.

Questions, answered.
- How do you play?
- Every answer is a whole number between 0 and 100. Set the dial to your guess, lock it in, and your score is the distance between your guess and the real answer. Five questions make a round, and it takes about two minutes.
- Why is a low score better?
- Because the score is a distance, not a tally. Guess three away and you score three. A bullseye scores zero, which is the best a question can go.
- What kind of questions are they?
- Anything whose answer is a number in range — percentages, counts, ages, distances. You are rarely expected to know it outright. The game is how close you can reason your way.
- Does everyone get the same questions?
- Yes. Everyone playing on the same local date sees the same five, which is the thing that makes comparing results worth doing at all.
- When does the next round start?
- At midnight in your own time zone, not ours. The countdown at the very bottom of this page is the real one.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Your round is kept against an anonymous session in this browser, so you can play, see where you landed and share the result without signing up for anything.
- Is it free?
- Yes, all of it — the daily round and live games both. There is nothing to buy and nothing to unlock.
- Can I play with people in the same room?
- Yes. Live mode puts a code and a QR on one screen, everyone else joins from their own phone, and when the timer stops every guess in the room lands on the same ruler at once.
